Founded in 1995, MHPA represents the interests of the Medicaid managed care industry through advocacy and research to support innovative policy solutions that enhance the delivery of coordinated, comprehensive, cost effective, and quality healthcare for all Medicaid enrollees. MHPA is committed to protecting the financial and structural viability of the Medicaid program to ensure access to needed healthcare services for America’s underserved and vulnerable populations.

Our nation’s Medicaid program is constantly changing, and Medicaid health plans are driving innovation to modernize this critical 55-year-old federal-state partnership. MHPA20 will be the nexus of transformative technologies, federal and state policy discussions, and Medicaid managed care’s focus on the member and their experience.

MHPA20 consists of five keynote sessions and three focused educational session tracks – Technology, Policy, and Operations – each with five, 1-hour sessions highlighting the valuable role MCOs, in partnership with other organizations, play in supporting the Medicaid program and its enrollees.

MHPA20 attendees will have the opportunity to network and meet with executive and senior leaders from national, multi-state Medicaid MCOs as well as regional and single-state for-profit and not-for-profit health plans. Medicaid thought leaders, advocates, entrepreneurs, and state and federal policymakers and regulators will also be in attendance.

“Solera Health is always excited to attend MHPA’s conference.  At the last event, I had a brief but productive conversation with the CEO of a large plan who offered an introduction to his CMO and a year later and we have a plan-wide contract for a service that will measurably improve the health status of the population.”

“Project Transition has enjoyed a relationship with MHPA for over 5 years. We consider the MHPA Annual Conference to be the premier venue to stay ahead of the curve on policy change, network, and share best practices. Our attendance as participants and as a vendor, has enabled Project Transition to form lasting, collaborative partnerships with health plans and industry leaders. This is Project Transition’s must-attend event because it is our chance to meet our current and future customers."
